ALDI Australia’s coffee crowned WORLD’S BEST at the Superbowl of coffee awards

ALDI Australia’s Lazzio coffee is awarded overall Large Chain Champion at the 2024 World Series Golden Bean awards.

ALDI Australia has taken the top spot, winning Gold and crowned the Overall Large Chain Champion category at the 2024 World Series of the Golden Bean Awards for its Lazzio coffee beans proving it officially offers the best coffee in the world at prices every Aussie can afford.

The Golden Bean is the world’s largest coffee roasting competition, bringing together the best of the best in the coffee roasting industry, with the World Series being the grand final between the Northern hemisphere and the Southern hemisphere, to crown the world champion of roasting. This year there were over 2,500 submissions.

Having been crowned Australia’s best at the Australian Golden Bean Awards in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, this is the first World Series win for ALDI Australia’s Lazzio coffee, roasted by Melbourne local, and ALDI Austrlalia’s long-term partner Black Bag Roasters. This win not only cements Australia’s position as the best coffee in the world, but confirms that the world’s best coffee can be found at ALDI.

The multi award-winning Lazzio range available exclusively at ALDI includes Lazzio Medium and Dark Coffee Beans, Lazzio Medium and Dark Ground Coffee, Lazzio Organic Ground Coffee, Lazzio Single Origin Brazil and Colombia Beans, as well as the newest and most premium coffee blend developed to date, Lazzio Luxe Blend Beans.
