ALDI’s supply chain receives mark of distinction

ALDI Australia has been recognised as a Trusted Trader by the Australian Border Force. The Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) program recognises businesses with a secure supply chain and compliant trade practices. The way we operate within our supply chain is trusted and in turn, we have access to benefits such as reduced waiting time for the release of our goods at the border.

“We work hard to ensure that our dealings with the Australian Border Force are consistent and that responsibility is taken at every step of the way. The accreditation is a nod to the hard work of our Logistics team, who are responsible for the smooth transition from customs, to our warehouses and finally to our stores,” said Adam Maher, Corporate Logistics Director at ALDI Australia.

• Our business partners – who have knowledge that the goods they supply to us will experience faster customs processing and fewer interventions, which in turn can be factored into production timing and cost of the product.
